Singapore: Zuzu Turkish and Mediterranean Restaurant, 45 Bussorah Street – halal World Cup 2026 meal package. Book a table and mention "World Cup Discount" and the table gets 20% off the food bill, a free Kunafa and free Turkish tea. Your country might go all the way or crash out in the group phase. Either way, you eat well. The deal continues until the end of the competition, through to the final on 19 July 2026.

Your team will test your patience. Dinner should not.

That is what a World Cup means. You can select the right squad, study every name, clear your schedule, and yet end up staring at a penalty shootout you didn’t ask for. There is nothing you can do about that.

Not dinner. Win or lose, the night falls softly with a charcoal barbecue in front of you with Kunafa coming. That’s the whole point of the Zuzu World Cup contract. The table wins, whatever the score. Book early and quote the World Cup discount and your celebration or your comfort is handled before kickoff.

Zuzu is located on Bussorah Street, just a stone’s throw away from Sultan Mosque, Arab Street and Haji Lane. It’s a halal Turkish, Lebanese, Mediterranean restaurant therefore the complete menu is available to everyone at the table.

When are the matches in Singapore, and can you watch at Zuzu?

Let's be clear about the clock, as most "watch the match here" posts get it wrong.

The United States, Canada and Mexico will host the 2026 World Cup. Kickoffs are now in Singapore time and the games are in the early hours and morning, about 1:00 AM to 11:00 AM SGT. So the idea of catching a 10 PM match over supper is not realistic this year.

What does work:

  • The late US-night games, those 10 to 11 PM Eastern starts, are 10 to 11 AM in Singapore. There are a few major group fixtures in that AM window so a World Cup breakfast or brunch viewing with Turkish tea is genuinely on.
  • For all other things, consider Zuzu as the meal around the football, not the screen on it. Whether you’re looking for a long supper the night before a major game, or a recovery feast following an early morning result. It’s the same win or loosing.

So work out your team's schedule, book the table and let the football take care of itself.

Start with the Mandi

Zuzu Mix Mandi, spiced rice with grilled meat for sharing

If your group is struggling to decide what to order, the Mix Mandi takes the decision out of your hands. Long-grain rice, seasoned and slow-cooked with succulent beef, scented with cumin, cardamom and dried lime. It is a Zuzu bestseller for a reason.  It serves a crowd, travels well, and is the type of meal that quietly disappears while everyone debates over a red card.

Zuzu’s point is that Mandi is more Arabian than completely Turkish. The kitchen does Turkish, Lebanese and Mediterranean all in one, so one table can go from mandi and tagine to charcoal kebabs without anyone having to compromise.

The grills carry the night

Zuzu halal Turkish charcoal grill Singapore

Match nights are made for charcoal. Zuzu's Turkish grills are the heart of the menu.

  • Adana Lamb, minced lamb, spiced, hand-pressed onto a broad skewer and cooked over flames. Serve with rice and grilled vegetables, hot but not boiling.
  • Ali Nazik, grilled lamb laid over smoky roasted eggplant puree with garlic yogurt. Rich, soft and a little dramatic.
  • Testi Kebab for two, sealed in a clay pot and cracked open at the table. The kind of thing that distracts a whole group from a sluggish first half.

For a hungry, indecisive table, the signature lamb and mixed grill sets put several cuts on one platter and end the debate.

Shawarma and mezze for the early rounds

Set up the table before the main courses. The wraps and rolls menu is all about shawarma done right, slow piled meat shaved thin, wrapped warm. Pull it through warm bread with the cold mezze, hummus, baba ghanoush and pals. Buy two to four cold dips for four to six individuals. It can hold the table when business is slow.

The reason to book: Kunafa and tea

Hot Kunafa and Turkish tea at Zuzu, free with the World Cup deal

The free Kunafa is what you truly came for. Hot, with crisp shredded pastry and a mushy, syrup-soaked middle. It is deliberately paired with Turkish tea. The tea is strong and black and comes in tiny tulip glasses and resets the palate between meals instead of just piling on more sweetness. One quick gulp and the following mouthful of kunafa hits cleanly again.

The Kunafa and the tea are complimentary for the table with the World Cup deal. If you want to go farther see the remainder of the desserts and the drinks.
